Will Duncan P90s fit in Gibson's creme covers?

I am thinking about replacing my Gibson P90s in my 2007 Les Paul '56 VOS with a SD Custom Soapbar (b). I'd prefer to keep the original cover but will it fit?

If not, does Duncans covers match Gibson's (VOS) covers?

And does Gibson and Duncan have the same polarity. I.e. will Gibson/Duncan P90 pair be in phase in the middle position?

TIA

Yes.. Duncan P-90s will fit under Gibson covers no prob.... I've done it. Specifically because Duncan's "creme" color is slightly different/lighter than the Gibson "creme" and I prefer the Gibson color.

The one exception to this rule is the Duncan Antiquity P-90s - the Duncan covers are shallower than other P-90 covers and the Antiquity base plate prevents deeper covers - kinda hard to explain. They'll still fit, dimension-wise but you need to shave/cut them down.

Thanks Cheezemaster.

When I read your response I wondered why I spelt cream "creme" and then I realized that I used the same spelling as the on-line store I just visited.

Yeah - for whatever reason, I've always seen the color spelled "creme".

Also - synthetic non-dairy sweet stuff inside Twinkies = "creme" filling

The real dairy product and Bruce/Baker/Clapton - "cream"
