Will Gibson covers fit Alnico II Pros?

I can't find covered Alnico IIs anywhere online so will the Gibson covers fit? If not I guess I'll go with the exposed coils but I would perfer the covers.

If they are not the bridge-spaced Gibson covers, they will fit perfectly.

Unless your bridge pickup is trem-spaced, two neck covers should do the trick.

I've always found that Gibson covers do not fit on Duncans, but don't know all the specs or details. The poles are off.

Don't forget, you can call any Duncan dealer and get them in nickel covered.
Plus, they'll be vacuum potted and ready to go.

I think it depends which Gibson pickup cover we are talking about. I installed a Gibby '57 Classic nickel cover on a Duncan '59 neck--fit perfectly. I haven't tried others but I believe Gibsons newer pickups have different pole spacing than the '57's

That's probably your best bet. Duncan covers are polished nickel, not chrome (if that matters to you)

I posted a definitive answer: Neck-spaced Gibson covers will fit any Duncan non-tremspaced humbucker. A bridge-spaced Gibson cover won't fit regular spaced Duncans. (I don't know if they'll fit trem-spaced Duncans.)

The 57 Classic covers are neck-spaced Gibsons.

Well I got the pups and parts today, The covers seem to fit but I'm not sure the poles line up perfectly with the holes but how do I tell when the cover are fully on. (the screws are just slightly below the holes now but they line up just fine.)

It won't, but I was saying that I didn't know if a Gibson BRIDGE-spaced cover would fit a trembucker.

Any humbucker cover will "fit" any humbucker because they are all the same size -- the only issue is whether the holes will line up with the polepieces.

Well they are lineing up fine, the thing is the poles are a little below the holes. I thought they were supposed to be a little above. Do I just need to push the bucker in more?
