Well, there will be a noticeable difference in volume when switching between the hb and sc's. But I don't think that the SSL-1's would necessarily be "overcome."

In a way it does not matter, under drive it will just be very close.
Play around with the heights, I always keep my buckers fairly low on ssh outfits.

Imo the output differences are quite overrated... I had a Hot Rail with SCs and it wasn't overcoming them either...

A good balance using height adjustment should help.
