Hi guys!
First post on the forums, signed up mainly because I want to learn as much as possible about guitars, really want to learn more about the technical side i.e. pickups and whatnot.
I'm purchasing a Kramer Pacer Classic shortly (http://www.gallinsmps.com.au/kramer-pacer-classic-pw-pearl-white.html), and it comes with a pair of Alinco V Humbuckers.
I'm looking to purchase two Seymour Duncan Pickups to replace these two pickups, and through research have tentatively decided on a SEymour Duncan SH-1 59 Model Humbucker for the Neck Pickup and a Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB Model Humbucker for the Bridge Pickup.
This pickup combination is used by Satchel of Steel Panther with the same/similar model of guitar i'm looking to purchase (Kramer Pacer Classic), and other glam metal/hair metal guitarists also use this combination, so I'm quite confident the combination would work, but just wanted a second opinion.
...or third/fourth/fifth too
Let me know what you think,
Thanks guys!
