Will this wiring diagram work for a P-Bass ?

So i took thhe SD standard P-bass Schematic and decided that i hate soldering grounds to the back of pot covers, its just not tidy for me. As a result, i drew this one up and im wondering if there are any Guru's out there that can see any flaws before i try it out.

cheers!

Almost.

You have drawn a grounding connection on the third tone pot terminal. That ground wire should solder to the chassis of a control pot. The third terminal on the tone pot should remain unused. (The rolled of signal passes to ground via the capacitor.)

In an ideal electronic world, rotating the volume pot to maximum SHOULD place the grounding terminal out of circuit. Hence, your pickup would no longer be grounded. It might get quiet.

Ground the pickup to the lug in the screening paint.

Thanks, I thought maybe I could cheat the soldering to the pot because I hate it so much. I think i may have found out how to do it though, how does this one look to you?
