Will this work? (paralell delay setup)

If I run a delay rack in a paralell FX loop on 0% Dry and 100% Wet, that means I'll get my original, un-effected tone and the sound of the delay also, correct?

So if that works, will I have any phase problems with the 2 sounds? I havent found any delay unit i like yet, all of them suck tone out of my dry signal, so i want to split the signal into 1 direct sound, and 1 'repeats only' sound. Is this going to work without any phase issues?

? what is the full set up you have in mind, mostly amps in question...? i assume you are trying to run 2 amps with a wet side and a dry side?
