Wire Size On Invader

I keep breaking the TINY wires on the Invader pickup and need the wire size so I can buy the proper snips and stripper.

I suggest getting your pickup sorted out first, and then reward yourself with the stripper afterwards.

No 1 on this forum(including a mod)that can answer my question?? 1 more time, what gauge wire does the Invader pickup use to connect to the pot? Thank you.

Im guessing somewhere in the 26 AWG range.

if you mean the wires in the cable, they're 20something like B&C said; if you mean the wire on the coils i believe that's 44AWG

It is either 24 or 26 AWG (assuming you're talking about the hookup wires). Have you tried using your teeth or nails? For teeth really just bite slowly and gently with your front teeth, or if you tan stick it in between two teeth. That is what I usually do for those gauges unless the insulation is though. If that is the case, I just use the front of the stripper, clamp with needle nose pliers all the way up to the point you want to strip, and pull of the insulation.
