Wireless Pedal Board?

Do you think people would be intrigued about a wireless midi controlled pedal board?

Like all your effects are turned on and they are hooked up to a device that can add them to the chain or not. By your feet you have a box with all the buttons for each individual pedal. These two devices tho would be wireless between each other. You could even put a few across the stage.

Think people would like the idea or not? I'm sure I could do it.

I believe bradshaw has that, or rocktron, or at least CAE.

that sounds cool, but complicated

for those with simpler tastes (many of us) here is what i htink would go over well

if u could make a pedal board that would be wireless in a different sense. use a wireless out from ur guitar, put the other end into the first input of the pedal chain, wire the chain as normal, and than have another wireless system going from the last pedal to the amp, so the pedal could be moved around, no wires attaching u to pedals, or pedals to amp. if u could figure out a way to power the pedals, and not have to plug in the board, like a rechargable battery or seomthing with a gauge showing battery level and an on/off switch, that could be used to power the pedals

i would go for what i desribed if i had a good rig and was playing alot of live.

for the record, i really dont like a pedalboard, i like having some space between my pedals, and i like having them spread out over a few feet, granted i only use 3 pedals currently, and a footswitch.

no one has a wireless pedal board. i do hear that one is being worked, including my company. this would be just for control, not audio. for audio, you have many options already in the market place.
anyone want an airswitch enabled preamp? let me know.

bluetooth, baby ... fire it up to a wireless router, and i can control your pedalboard from the internet :)

i still believe in K.I.S.S. ... keep it simple son

good luck though, i bet it's patentable

Ah, I was just trying to think of an apllication for a using a basic chip and a wireless whip with it for fun.
