Wiring 2 Humbuckers w/Strat Wiring?

I am putting some different humbuckers in a strat of mine - currently it's a 5 way switch wired like a 3 way, so bridge and neck position are normal and the 2-4 positions are bridge/neck.
The new pickups I'm installing can be coil split, so I was trying to find a wiring diagram, but the only one I can find that utilizes the existing controls seems kind of odd:

So position 5, which is normally neck, on this diagram has it as the bridge split, which is... weird.:eek13:

My question is - if I flipped the red/white wires on the diagram (so that the neck red/white is on the left side of the switch and the bridge on the far right,) would that give me the neck split in position 5?

What they did was make the first three "clicks" act as a normal 3-way. Then you get the two "bonus" positions of #4 and #5, which are the split tones. This was necessary in order to utilize the stock 5-way. In order to move those functions around, you'd need a Superswitch.
