I have an Ibanez SZ520 with a 4PDT 3 way switch which allows me to have the middle position split the coils of both pickups so I can get a glassy neck/bridge single coil sound there. I replaced the stock bridge pup with a Pearly Gates. Now, I'd like to also have the option to switch the bridge pickup between series and parallel with a push/pull pot. I am confusing myself on how to do the wiring with both the 4PDT 3 way and the DPDT push/pull in play for what I want to achieve. Is it possible? It is hard enough to find a 'normal' wiring schematic for a 4PDT out there.
My gut tells me that I should just go to a push/pull on each volume control to switch between series/parallel and forget about splitting coils in the middle position. I'd like to not give that up, though....
