Wiring 3 P90s in a strat

Quick question:

Wiring a hot p90 bridge with 2 neck pickups on 5 way switch.

Do I need to custom order a middle p90 rw/rp or can I simply wire the ground as hot and the hot as ground on a standard neck pickup for middle position?

If that is possible, do neck pickups come RW/RP to match the bridge and would I then have to reverse the wiring on the Neck P90?

The rw/rp means you get hum cancelling without an out of phase issue. Just wiring the leads reversed won't do the same. The middle is the easiest to do rw/rp as you get both 2 and 4 being hum cancelling.

Alex is right, but with a P90 it can be done DIY, if you know some basics on pickups. You have to reverse the Leads from the coil to the braided wire and while you are inside change the polarity from south to the keeper bar to north.

With the traditional, basic, eight terminal selector switch, three of the positions will not be noise-cancelling. Why invalidate the warranty on one pickup just to obtain two positions that are noise-cancelling. Either live with the P90 noises or buy a noise reduction pedal.

Exactly what I needed to know thanks!
