IS there any distinct difference between these two diagrams?

Would both Equal out to 16 ohms if I was using 16 ohm speakers?

The reason I'm asking is, I'm using a thicker gauge wire for the inside of the cab, and it makes it quite hard to solder 2 huge wires to the Ring and 2 huge wires to the Tip.

Also, how do you feel about the connectors, would it be better to just solder the speakers in as opposed to using those?

Both diagrams are series/parallel, therefore, if the speakers are 16 ohms each, then the total will also be 16 ohms.

Makes no difference whether the wires are connected to to the jack or to the spkr.

I do find it kinda weird though...like, by doing it my way I'm using less wire, which I can only assume is a good thing?
