Wiring Diagram help S+S+Stack with DPDT switch

Can someone help me figure out a wiring diagram for a stratocaster? Here are the components:

GFS Single Coil in Neck
GFS Single Coil in Middle
Duncan Stack (STK-9b) in Bridge
DPDT push switch (located in volume position)
1 Master Volume (located in tone 1 position)
1 Master Tone (located in tone 2 position)

here is a pick of the push switch, which is just wired up like any DPDT I assume:

I found a wiring diagram for an S + S + Single Humbucker, so I guess that is my starting point. I just need to understand how to route the wires of that bridge STK pickup through the DPDT and then over to any other components. Thanks!

I forgot to mention, when switch is pushed in, I want the normal stacked hum cancel mode. When released, I want the true single coil mode.

The red wire from the stack goes to ground for split operation.

How did you attach your switch to the pickguard?

Thanks! Any idea how exactly I would run the bridge pickup wires to the push switch? I don't really understand electronics, as much as I've tried to understand them. That's why I always need a diagram telling me exactly which wire goes where, but what I'm trying to do here won't show up on any diagram unfortunately.

I'm going to super glue that black part to the pickguard and then screw the switch into it.

This picture is probably a better starting point. 3 STK pickups, but imagine that neck and middle are just standard single coils. I've got white, red, yellow, and black wires coming out of my bridge pickup, apparently. I assume I need to start by running a few of them to the switch?

With the switch oriented as it is in the picture, attach the red wire from the STK to the middle lug of the switch; left or right side doesn't matter. Attach ground to the lug directly above it.

Here is an updated diagram. Is this complete, or am I missing something?

Close.

Keep the yellow wire with the black wire and run a wire from the back of the volume pot to the switch instead of the yellow wire.

Yes.

Make sure the lug with the ground wire is the one closest to the pickguard when the switch is installed if you want the stack to be split when the button is out.

Thanks for all the help! I'll report back when it's all done.

Re: Wiring Diagram help S+S+Stack with DPDT switch

I wired the guitar exactly as seen in the last picture. The tone knob isn't really working now, its hard to describe, sounds like full tone at 1 and no tone at 10 and volume cut at 5. Also bridge pickup + middle is out of phase, very low volume and tinny sounding. Any ideas about how those two issues could be happening? Should I tweek any of the wiring? Thanks

Re: Wiring Diagram help S+S+Stack with DPDT switch

Well, after re-reading the directions I can confirm that I got one thing wrong. The ground to the mini switch - i wired it to the lug furthest from pickguard instead of lug closest to pickguard. I will go ahead and fix that. Could that be source of all the trouble?

I thought it was weird that in this diagram the master tone uses middle lug for the capacitor, yet I previously had the left lug wired to the capacitor. Tone worked then, doesnt now.

Re: Wiring Diagram help S+S+Stack with DPDT switch

Please post pictures.

I'm not familiar with the wiring and polarity of your neck and middle pickups, but I can help you with your other issues.

FWIW, you don't have to wire the tone exactly how it is shown in the diagram.

Re: Wiring Diagram help S+S+Stack with DPDT switch

Played so more today and I think the tone knob is reversed, 1 is 10 and 10 is 1. I wired exactly as shown in diagram so I'm not sure how this happened, any suggestions for wiring the tone knob differently?

Re: Wiring Diagram help S+S+Stack with DPDT switch

For the bridge + middle, that is a GFS middle , not sure if there is anything I can do to get them to play nice together. Should I just flip the middle pickup? It sounds nice and hum cancelling at neck + midsle position so I'd rather not jeopardize that, its more important to me than the bridge + middle
