Wiring diagram help

Hi, Im re-wiring a guitar, changing it from 2hum, 1vol, 1tone, 5-way.
To 2hum, 1vol, 1tone, 3-way. The diagram for this has a les paul switch, where as i need one with a strat style 3-way. Which diagram can i use to wire the switch?:smack:

I have the exact same setup on my franken double fat strat. A diagram came with the knife style 3 way switch when I bought it but it's not too hard to figure out anyway. Here's a diagram that will give you the idea although not exactly the same http://www.guitarelectronics.com/product/WDUHH3T1101 Maybe somebody else has a better one but if you have a Volt/Ohm meter, find your common and determine which pole works with it in the different positions.

Thats pretty much the same as the one i was looking at, it also has the wrong type switch.

I know it's not the same switch but it does give you the principal idea. Use an Ohm meter if you got one to figure it out or, if not, maybe Artie or someone else has a diagram of that type of switch that they can post. Good luck.
