Wiring Diagram Needed, Please

To all -

I'm trying to help out a friends son who owns an inexpensive (Austin) Strat copy. He wants to install a S.D. stacked humbucker in the bridge position, and also a push-pull pot for the option of using single coil operation. I would appreciate getting a wiring diagram that would incorporate those two changes. Also, does an import (flat style) selector switch wire the same as a curved one? If not, is there a cross reference diagram for that?

I have asked several questions... and do offer many thanks in return.

By "stacked humbucker" I assume you mean a single-coil-sized humbucker?


Ignore that the neck is a bucker, wire both tone pots as usual.

Thanks! Yes, that is what I meant - a single coil sized humbucker. Quick follow-up question: What if the two single coils (to remain) are only 2 wire pickups? Once again, thanks.

Single coil pups only have 2 wires, but white is hot and black is ground (just the opposite of buckers). That's why I said to ignore that the neck pup in the diagram is a bucker, with red and white wires connected. The wires will be just white and black like the middle pup.
