What style of wiring are the diagrams on the SD site? I was looking for a
50's style and a 50's style with independent volume.

Anyone know to find a good diagram for 50s independent wiring? Theres one over on
mylespaul forum but its not that great.

Take your favourite SD wiring diagram and take the connection from the volume pot to the tone pot and move the volume pot end from the input (left) lug to the output (middle) lug. Now you have 50's wiring.

I think the diagrams in post # 2 on the LP Forum thread are as clear for modern vs 50s , master vs indep vol wiring as it gets

www.singlecoil.com/docs/paula.pdf has a pretty good set of vintage and modern diagrams that show the 2 conductor evolution throug the 60s.
