wiring errors...

I need some wiring advice, and the SD forums have never failed me. Here's my situation....:chairfall

In my "Korina" explorer, i dropped in 2 new SD pups. Upon completion, all sounds well with one exception. This is an H/H guitar with a 3-way switch and 2 vols, 1 tone. With the switch in the middle (both pups on) rolling back the volume on either knob causes the overall volume to drop, and turning either volume all the way down cuts all sound from the guitar. Yet they both work fine in their individual switching position. no mixing tones for me.

What have i done here? I've checked and re-checked all wiring and all seems well. :banghead:

Re: wiring errors...

Thats the normal way that twin-volume control guitars work. Its difficult to make a "passive" mixer, which is what you're doing. You can get around it a little bit by reversing the two terminals on the volume control that aren't ground. Its not ideal, but it works.
