Wiring for Squire Mini Strat

Good Morning, Everyone;

I am in the process of updating my Squire Mini Strat. I've installed a Goldtone zero glide nut. Getting ready to install graph tech saddles and new tuning machines and I've also replaced the stock pickups with single coil lipstick pickups and this is what my question is about.

My mini has the 3 single coil pickups 1 Volume 1 Tone and a 5 way blade switch. I have the Seymour Duncan wiring diagram for this setup but the switch in the diagram is different from the kind I have. This is a photo of my switch:

Can anyone in this forum tell me how to wire this switch in with the above wiring diagram? Everything else is exactly like what I have but the switch.

Welcome to the forum! I had a strat mini for a little while. The 22.75" scale length is cool and really changes the sound.

Hey, Clint 55; Thanks a million!! That's just what I needed.

The 22.75" scale is the reason I purchased the mini. I play tenor guitars I also play six string) and wanted a good tenor electric but I wanted the string spacing a little wider than stock tenors. I have an eastwood tenor that's a great guitar but the string spacing is standard and little to narrow for my taste. My Blueridge acoustic tenor is close but still a tad narrow. I wanted a spacing like my baritone uke (I'm into four string instruments). So I converted my mini to four string tenor electric. It works and sounds great but I decided to do the upgrade and hopefully improve it even more.

Are you sure the switch in that smaller pic is EXACTLY the same as the switch in your guitar?? The switch in your picture only has 7 lugs.. All of the import switches I have ever seen have 8 lugs..

Regardless, either the {left-most 3 lugs} OR the {right-most 3 lugs} are going to be the lugs you solder your pickups hot wires to, the {center lug} (or the center lug closest to the side you picked) should be attached to the vol pot input.. The rest is the same as the diagram.
