No, that won't work. And its not clear what you're trying to accomplish here. Why did you modify the circuit from its original form?

If you only want one tone control, then take the end of the cap thats connected to the middle pot, and connect it to ground instead.

If you want a 500k tone pot, thats divided between two knobs, then connect the lower lug of the middle pot to ground. (Weird, but its your axe.) :)

No, the circuit as illustrated will not work.

All that the lower pot can do is determine whether the signal is either passed via the capacitor to the second tone pot or diverted to the third lug (a dead end). It is, effectively, acting as a switch.

The upper tone pot will have no effect other than loading of the pickup(s). With no connection between the pot lugs and ground, the combination of resistance and a capacitor cannot act as a low pass filter.
