Wiring help, im out of phase somewhere...

Quick question for you guys, I am wiring up my strat into a fat strat. SSH I have hot noiseless in the neck and middle and a Fender Seymour pearly gates plus that I am adding into the Bridge possition. Here is the wiring diagram I used (from fender)

http://www.fender.com/support/diagrams/pdfs/AFATSTRATTEX/SD0117900APg2.pdf

Notice it shows the black wire going to the switch and the green (which is not really labled, I am assuming that is the to go to the volume pot with the ground) The humbucker sounds great, but the second possition sounds extremely weak. Also when I am on that second possition both the humbucker and the middle pickup are on, not just the middle coil and the inside coil of the humbucker. Now as for the red and white wires I have put them together but I do not understand where the diagram is asking me to put them. There are not enough places to put them on my 5 way switch. Any help would be great.

Hey Rock, hears the deal.....

Often when mixing Fender and Seymour Duncan there is a phase problem and it is easy to correct. Just connect the green wire from the Pearly Gates to the 5 way switch where the old bridge pickup was connected and connect the black wire to ground. That will correct the phase problem.

As for the other part, Im not sure you want to split the bridge humbucker. If you do split it, your #4 position will hum because the combination of the Fender noiseless and the split PG will not cancel hum.

The switch in that diagram is not a std 5 way and may have many more terminals than the switch in your guitar. There is a way to do the same wiring on a std 5 way switch, you'll just need to move a few wires.
