wiring help needed

what schematic should i use when i wire my JB-hotrails-coolrails, 2 tone, 1 volume, and a 5 way switch? what would the difference in sound be like using 500k pots over 250k pots? what type of capacitor would go with each? any and all help would be great...Thanks

500k make the sound brighter.
There is no "best" cap value... the higher the value, the lower the frequencies that'll get cut away when you turn down the tone...
for example, a .02 will cut off just the highs, while a .047 will cut off the highs and some mids...
I'd personally use .02 as with higher values, the tone can get muddy if you turn the tone down...
