Wiring Jazzmaster Pickups

The custom shop is building a pair of Jazzmaster pickups in a humbucker size that I will be installing in a Carvin SH550CEB. The carvin has humbuckers, 1 tone, 1 volume, 3 way switch and a push pull coil split. I want to make the push pul into a kill switch and wire in the humbucker sized Jazzmasters.

Can anyone come up with a crude wiring diagram for this?

someone correct me if im wrong... but it seems like you would just need to connect you hot lead (likely from your switch) to the bottom lug on the push pull and make the center lug the output to the jack... that way when you pull the pot you take the pickups out of the signal path. thus a kill swich... heres a drawing of what i mean

That diagram won't work properly. It will create a tremendous buzz or hum when engaged due to floating the amp input. Just wire that switch to short out the tip and ring of the output jack. Thats all there is to it.

The rest of the diagram is just this, but ignore the red/white wires.
