Wiring/pots for Little '59s in Univox Custom E-355 copy

Am looking for wiring advice for Little '59s in a 1960s Univox Custom E-355 copy.

I want to replace the rusty sour-sounding single-coils with SD Little '59s but am not sure what wiring schematic to follow. Can I follow the humbucker 2 vol/2 tone/3 way switch schematic or do I need to adapt a Strat-style schematic to the 2 vol/2 tone/3 way switch setup I have? Should I use 250k or 500k pots?

If you don't want to split the pup, ignore the switch in the pic, and just connect the red/white combo together like the other pup.

btw - nice looking geetar. That thing should sound killer.
