Wiring question 3 single coils

That will be sweet. I'm working on this right now, but I've got to head out to a Dr's appointment in about 40 minutes. If I don't get it done by then, I'll have it before the day is over. Since I don't have the switch in my hand, I have to double, and triple check my diagram, before you start soldering.

I think this is it. Make sure to orient the 3-pole / 4-position switch with the "DF3" as I have it. Connect the middle pup red and blue "dots" to where I show on the 3P4T common terminals.

Ask me if anything doesn't make sense.

Artie, so many thanks for your input!!!!

I had already prepped a lot of the schematic, so only the last part that I needed to fix yesterday was the 4 way.

I didn't drill the mini toggle (series parallel) yet, but at this point I did. The action is dialed in, the nut is cleared up. Just have to install the backplates, and that's it.

My god this guitar sounds kick ass. Whoever thought that the Trisonics can "only do" Queen is wrong. It's like a tele/p90/strat blend, and the series setting really bumps the output.

You're welcome. I was about to ask, how you got the rotary switches through those F-holes.

Looks sweet.
OH this one has backplates.

Next weekend I think I'm going to make photos of my 2-month guitarmaking binge. I finished I 15 guitars in 2 months.

The more I look at that diagram, the more I'm thinking of trying it on one of my Strats. I have the rotary's in a mini form. Not sure If I'm going to do the phase switch though. I've never been big on that. Maybe.

The series parallel options work very well for these pickups because their inductance is so low. The phase options also sound great but I just like phase reversal. Gotta finish the guitar by screwing the backplates etc but there's just so, so much work left to do. Hope to get it all finished this weekend.

That's why I was thinking this might be fun to do with my 3 Lipstick Tube Strat, or my old Dano Hodad, (with 4 LS tubes wired as two hb'ers.) But on the other hand, I'm not sure I want to mess with either. I feel like I should keep them stock.
