Wiring Question, duckbucker

Hi

Im researching at the moment, for my next little pickup project and i had a look at the 'everything axe' wiring and discovered the the duckbucker is wired diffently than the other 2 pickups.

Can anyone explain whats going on with that? What is the diffence between ex. the little 59' wiring and the duckbucker on the 'everything axe' diagram?

welcome to the forum!

the duck is wired in parallel to get the best possible quack tone. low output and bright is good for that.

Ok thanks Jeremy,

I tried it (right after reading your post) on one og my guitars that has a SD rail in the neck and now it fits much better (in terms og volume and tone) together with the other 2 stacked coils i have in the middel and brigde in my strat.

Im still a noob; so there is a lot to learn.
