Wiring Saturday Night Specials into 2015 Epiphone Custom Pro

Trying to wire in neck and bridge Duncan Saturday night specials into a 2015 Les Paul Custom Pro. There are 3 push pull pots 2 volume and 1 tone. This has quick disconnect system. As you can see by the pic the original epiphone pick up has 2 red wires one big red wire that is not on duncan pickups, the bridge has 1 big black wire. Was wanting to cut connector off of the original epiphone pickups and wire to the Duncan's but I'm not sure what to do with the Big red wire and Big black wire that is on the Epi pickups. Cant find a diagram for the Epi. Any suggestions? unless this is there shielding wire. Not sure.

The way those work is bare -- south start/ground -- north start/hot -- south end -- north end. I got one of these Adapters that also come with a conversion. Here is a pic of their conversion page, although when one understands how all this wiring stuff works you can split to different coils and other fun things.

I can't provide any links, but once upon a time I found adapters on eBay to connect to epiphone harnesses. You wouldn't have to cut your stock pickups if you found some. They were only a couple bucks.

Yes, there are ones like These. You just have to solder and could eventually run out of wire if you switch out pickups really often or are picky and want/have to explore many pickups. If your just good with what you have then they would work great. I put a set of Saturday Night Specials into an Epiphone Les Paul Modern and love the hell out of them, I do still like to explore though!
