Probably way over thinking this, but I'm doing a weird thing with some spare parts. Basically this whole thing is an excuse to teach myself coil splitting.
My question is, I want to be able to (hopefully) use the Pegasus split into a single coil with the tele neck pickup.
Which coil of the Pegasus would I take? Would it create a hum cancelling pair? What is the polarity winding direction of the pegasus' coils?
The tele neck pickup is South polarity, counter clockwise wind direction. So I guess I would use the North side of the humbucker and hopefully it would create a hum reducing opposite pair?
