wiring up a friends guitar he built later today

three lollar firebird pups. if it works the way i want, ill post a clean wiring diagram in case it might be of use down the road. most of it is pretty straight forward, volume and tone for each pup, phase switch for the middle pup. i had to figure out how to have only one set of volume/tone controls active when the middle and bridge pups are in series but i think i got it. i think im going to wire the middle pup for independent volume and the other two 50's style

Independent vs dependent volumes has to do with which lug on the vol pot is used for the input and which is used to go to the jack.
50's (vintage) vs modern tone has to do with which lug on the volume pot goes to the tone pot...either the lug for the input or the lug for the output/jack.

yes, i know that, i mistyped. again, middle volume independent, neck and bridge dependent. tones are 50's style. wiring was a pita in the little cavity but its done. i had to go before testing so waiting on a report back to see if anything needs to be fixed
