I installed a set of Duncans in a Warwick Mayfield (think 335) and they are acting strange. Followed the wiring instructions exactly. With the switch in the up or down, everything works fine. In the center position, the bridge volume control works as expected but the neck volume control kills the output when rolled down. I have double checked all the connections. I've had a co-worker re-check everything and there are no apparent problems. It sounds like a ground issue somewhere but I can't find it. Any ideas? Every seen one act like this?

You have something wired up backwards. It's not a ground issue in my opinion.

There are two ways to wire a dual-vol axe. "Normal" LP style, and the "50's mod". With the former, both volume controls will act just like your neck volume does. With the latter, both volumes act just like your bridge vol does. One of your volume pots has the two non-grounded lugs reversed. Which one, depends on which of those schemes you desire.

OK...pictures. First, let me correct a mistake. It is a Framus Mayfield...not Warwick. Everything gets connected though the block located under the bridge pickup. The outer two are the hots. The rest of that mess is grounds. Sorry if it looks a little sloppy. I've connected and re-connected everything in there too many times. Forgot to mention I also had to install treble bleeds on both volume ports. ArtieToo...if I switch the two non-grounded wire, won't that throw the pickups out of phase?
