Well I guess I'm somewhat alone on this one.
These are handmade guitars that are on a completely different level than the ones you see floating around for a few hundred dollars. The woods are all solid and the guitars were made by top notch luthiers (they each have the signature of Yamaha's top luthier on the wood inside the soundhole). These go for $3-4k in japan and are almost non existent in america.
Because I play a lot of slide, I can work with guitars that have some problems. I would have eventually saved up the money and sent it somewhere like hoffman guitars, but I suppose I should let bygones be bygones.
