I liked both speakers. The Celestion seemed to have more treble and crunch and the Wizard seemed to sound fuller, sweeter and, I'm guessing, would probably appeal to most younger players - the guys who rarely play clean and like to play with an overdriven tone most of the time. Thanks for posting that.

The Celestion G12H 30 definitely had more low end and the Wizard more highs. Wizard was brighter and airier. I think Gypsy got them backwards.
They are both really good speakers. I happen to love the deep full low end of the G12H and have one paired with a Swamp Thang in an oversized 2x12 box. It is a very full, rich sound.

That's what I heard too. I was thinking it might be an especially good speaker for someone who plays a lot of slide guitar.
