Has anybody compared the Whole Lotta Humbucker to a Burstbucker Pro?
I've read several threads about how it compares to a '59, but it sounds a little bit like a Burstbucker Pro to me. To me, a Burstbucker Pro is a slightly brighter '59 with more midrange character and just slightly less output.
I prefer A5 magnets and have been looking for a neck pickup that I like better than the BBPro. I'd like more top end chime. The BB Pro sounds a bit flat and uninteresting in the treble ranges. (I use a 500k pot).
Anybody have experience with WLH and BBro have any feedback?
