Wood Pickup cover, instead of plastic ones

i was surfing on the net and found this link

it claims that those new basses has Wood pickups.
i want to ask Evan or scott or Mj if is that possible to wound a , for example, Custom custom Trembucker with a Woody cap, i mean, instead of double black, creme, zebra etc.. an ALL maple, or mahogany etc
i ´m sure i´m not expressing myself right
ehehehehehe so, if YOU GOT what i´m trying to say, HELP with the ENGLISH and give some Feedback on this

There is a company in England who makes the top of the pickup of wood. I cant't remember the name, but I'll check it tomorrow.

I've seen wooden covers for P90s. They were kinda funky.
