Wood you buy this?

I will say wood is the way to go for a better tone. Metal pedal boards create eddy currents that can cause interference and unwanted artifacts in the signal-to-noise ratio.

Are you doing this guy's marketing now?

I believe so, because he has a buffered bypass version listed also, where he's coated the board with resin and buffed it smooth.
