Wooden guitar picks?

Anyone here use wooden guitar picks?
They look fancy but more importantly how is the tone? How is the feel? Is it worth trying?



Any comments appreciated,
 
I love them -especially on acoustic instruments. I like the different sound in the attack and the thickness and response probably makes you a more precise and better player over time

Every time I'm in Ireland I buy all kinds -as they are more common and have lots of cool Celtic ones...

I've made necklaces out of ebony Brossard picks. But I don't like the 'feel' when I play with them.

The do. probably 4x as fast if you asked me to guess... also 5x the cost.

Although -they are still useful than a worn Tortex -so maybe their older second life is longer (after the pointy newness wears off)
