I managed to get my hands on a sweet 72 SG STD ..

these are some of the best sounding PAFs I've ever heard ... this guitar just ooooz's that bitchin early angus tone .. and that neck-pick-up carlos tone is right there too ... geez .. I might even leave em in there!

well aged cherry finish w/ a good amount of wear, nice ebony board and bigger than the slim-tapered neckshape .. but not a log at all .. well broken in feel to the boards edges .. I'm having trouble putting it down ... and I think my LP's are getting jealous ...

has a push/pull vol. that looks ancaint and only has 3 poles .. doesnt seem to do anything tho... hmmmm .. kinda funky ....

Congratulations on your new acquisition! Those early 70's SG's were cool for sure! I've come to think of that axe as the Swiss Army Knife of guitars.

swiss army knife! thats fitting ..

I am living in an analog world ... camera wise ... one of my customers says he'll bring by his digital for some pics ... so, I hope to get a couple soon ..
