So finally after almost a year on the waiting list, I was finally able to order the elusive King of Tone! So I snagged one with the external toggle and high gain options on both sides!! Now the dreaded 8 hour wait to get home.


Suddenly I'm starting to feel sick.......

Awesome! Just yesterday I got a PoT and it's a fantastic pedal. Congrats!

I have one made prior to the availability of the high gain option and I consider it an overdrive. I use it to boost the front end of a YJM 100 and a Mesa Dual Rec. It sounds fantastic. It smoothes out the overdrive on the Marshall. The KoT with a Comprossor is hard rock dream combo with the right amp, IMO.

That yellow channel is really something else. I miss selling mine for that sound alone. Always wanted a POT, but they always seemed to sell out before I had a chance to buy it.

I am using the pedal right now At my gig. I haven't touched any other pedal but my compressor, delay, and the KoT!! I'm gonna by a small tap delay and reverb and run a small board for the next few gigs. I love this thing!! The yellow channel I have set for a slightly overdriven sound, works great strumming or picking. I have the red channel set for higher gain. Even at high gain I can roll back for a nice overdriven sound. Very responsive to picking.. Loving it so far!!!

I'm looking forward to getting one when my name comes up. I will be using it to slam the front end of a Marshall 800, which I havn't seen much reviews on. I like the idea of 2 independant channels and touch sensitivity.

I'm sure it will do well! I may do a crappy demo of my 800 and use the KoT to slam the from end! I'll try than here soon for ya!

Very cool circuit for pushing either a clean amp or a dirty one. My amp is very sensitive to any pedals in front of and the only ones I've found are a treble booster (Keeley TMB), a Klon clone and just last week a Analogman PoT. I did want a KoT but over here the KoT is VERY expensive but I managed to get the PoT for a very good price. I've been playing with it this weekend and added it to my board and it's fantastic so having 2 in 1 box must be awesome! I must just give Christian (TGWIF) a special mention for his help and advice... cheers mate!

Awesome! I like my fulldrive, but lately I've been on a non TS kick for no reason at all lol.

way cool. some great and diverse sounds. lovely playing too. I think if you needed to tho, you could probably get away doing you everything needed for a gig with just the KOT.
