Here's a work in progress from my 3rd CD, which will be more Metal than my previous discs.

It's called Colossus, from the old movie Colossus: The Forbin Project.

Again, it's just a work in progress - just the rhythm/drums/bass. Still needs final tweaking and solos and whatnot (maybe vocals).

Sounds pretty cool . . . definitely has a bit of a Megadeth vibe to it. I want to hear a screaming solo worked in there now!

In other news, the mix was pretty balanced through my PC, but listening to it in my car, the solos are a bit too unbalanced both tonally and volume-wise.

Tweaked a few things (like the kick drum), and tried to maintain the tones I want for each track yet get everything audible.
