Working on a new project

Yes, I'm working on putting lipstick on another turd, but it's my lipstick and my turd so I can do what I want with both. LOL!!!

I'm working on changing up my natural Yamaha Pacifica 112J from a HH setup to a SSS setup. I'm replacing the old pickguard with a JB (A2)/Jazz pickup set with a pickguard that has DiMarzio Injector bridge/Area 58 middle/Injector neck setup. Should turn out pretty cool when I'm done. I still need to wire up the pickups/pots/5-way switch and then I can get it all installed.

guard looks cool with the cream pups. was the guard special made for the yamaha?

Yeah, there's a couple places you can get pickguards made for the 112J, 112V or 212V pacificas along with replacements for the tele style 102S and the like. I like the look of the tortoise and cream and it should look good on the natural finish also IMO.

I went ahead and put the pickguard in just to see how it'll look, but I still have to wire it all up. I think it's gonna look great.
