Would the Duncan Distortion bridge pickup work with an Invader neck pickup?

I got a pretty good deal on these pickups from a guy at a local music store. Would these two pickups sound good together?

There isn't any good technical reason why they shouldn't work just fine as a pair that I can think of. Whether or not they'll sound good is up to you.

Thanks!

Depends on how you want them to work....

Big fat thick neck leads and rhythm

Brutal crunch and screaming highs in the bridge

If that's what you want....should be fine

I think it depends on how you like 2 pickups to act in a guitar. Some people go for versatility, some go for variations of the same sound. Only you can decide.

A Distortion bridge works with ANYTHING.

Or just alone, too

I'd rather have the distortion set,,,,,but if you're picking up a good used deal then it's all winning.

Whats a distortion neck even like??

I'd call it a medium output ceramic that's especially good at neck-only lead clarity.
For bridge/neck leads blending I like the 59n better in the neck, and for cleans I much prefer the 59n.
Blended rhythm stuff (power-chord riffs) I'd take the distortion neck.

For something like a maple bolt-on alder/ash, or even full maple I'd rather have the opposite,,,,,,,Invader bridge/Distortion neck, or Invader/59n.
Heck I'm sure the Invader set would be great in those also,,,,,but I've never even played an Invader neck so it's speculation.

Depends (ya get more out of life)

So....does it SOUND like a Distortion at all, or is it just a neck PAF-style bucker that pairs well with the DD(b)???

Just a much cooler-wound Distortion that pairs well with the hotter bridge. Not very paf-like at all IMO.
