Come up with some cool ideas here!
Wouldn't it be cool if they made a pickup that.....
was 'blank' EQ-wise. As even as can be, designed for lots of processing, modeling and mangling.
The Bill Lawrence Ultrasonics were pretty flat and transparent but not everybody liked them.Come up with some cool ideas here!

I love this idea. Preferably active so that it could drive a line-level device, like any commercial multi-band EQ. (15, 31-band etc.)
You could pretty much "dial-in" any pickup.
Would love a pckup that would allow me to boost my mids or go from medium output to high output with a push/pull
They should also make solderless versions of all of the pickups.
EMG has done the heavy lifting for solderless design, both active and passive. Just standardize that header connector, and the speed and ease that you could demo other pickups would be amazing.
Wouldn't it be cool if they made a pickup with a neural link so you could control the level of sustain with your mind? Kind of like a Sustainiac but no switches, just brainwaves
