This guitar is an absolute inspiration...AN INSPIRATION PEOPLE!!!

I've never owned anything with soapbars before, and all I can tell you is that this guitar has made a soapbar believer out of me!

I haven't had a chance to take any decent pics yet but here are some I took at night in my room...I will return with more :bowdown:

Wow....I love the look of that so much more with the maple neck. Awsome looking guitar!

Really sweet guitar. Will you do a little review to make bros watermouth a bit more?

Is it an old model? I couldn't find it on PRS website? IS it a second hand one?

Haha of course I will...I'll just have to play it a little more I think ;)

I want to get some really good outdoor pics taken though, those pictures really don't do it any justice.

It would be so sweet if they made that one in a semi-hollow too...not sure if they do though :(

this win's my "one of the best guitars of 2006" award. love the look and it's got p90's. i've always loved the look of a gold top with p90s

Awesome, glad to hear you're digging it... that guitar is beautiful! You've got a rare one there, PRS hadn't made a whole lot of Custom 22 Soaps from my recollection. PRS guitars are ridiculously consistent :fing2:

Killer guitar. I want that one! I think they discontinued triple soapbars a few years ago, and I have no idea why they'd do such a thing. That's one of their truly original designs, and it looks great in gold/maple. From what I've heard, there's absolutely no reason to change anything on that guitar......I certainly wouldn't. Now you're going to see why so many Gibson/Fender loyalists also love PRS.

I think this has insprired me to get a McCarty with soaps when I finally get to adding a PRS to the collection. It's down the list, but I love the way it looks.

Well nice score, man does that maple neck set it off!

Also loving the Goldtop and natural binding! That look could be my next Singlecut im thinking!

Everybody wants a P-90 guitar, they just don't knbow it. Gold tops rule with crem - triple crem at that!

If PRS guitars are all consistent with this one then there must be some amazing instruments around!

Yeah I don't know why they would discontinue a model like this, it really is one of the finest instruments I've ever held on so many levels. Its feel, its sound, its vibe, its friggin mojo, its look...did I mention its tone...and its tone...yes its TONE! The combination of the woods used with the hardware on it are just a perfect match...but it's even nice to play unamplified ;)

A McSoap would be awesome, but I'd try and get one with the three soapbars because the notch positions are incredible...not to mention that coupled with the maple neck/fingerboard makes for tonal heaven!

I wonder why PRS don't make more guitars with the maple neck/fingerboard, it's a great combo with the mahogany.

I totally agree with you Aceman about everyone wanting p90s but not knowing it. Most people often want pickups that have a big open sound with lots of clarity...but also with lots of balls and that can get nasty too while still cleaning up well. Well the p90 is EXACTLY that! ...and it sounds so good that you never stop playing long enough to notice any hum :D

The funny thing was I've been jonesing after a goldtop with p90's for ages now...I just never thought I'd end up with a PRS until I played it and forgot all about that '56 Les Paul Historic :banana:

I'll get some clips happening soon :cool2:
