I wouldn't even pay 1000 for that guitar. I guess it's just supply and demand. For some caviar is a delicasy - for others it's just nasty slimy stuff that they would never eat. I guess this guitar is caviar. ( I love caviar by the way )

The metallica fanboiz seriously moaned to ESP for years to bring back the ouija guitar but I agree that it's about $6000 too much

I feel that that graphic is worth more than 500$ to be honest, and I don´t think you´ll find anybody willing to airbrush it for that price. Ive seen it done before, and done freehand it´s a boatload of work, about 50-60 hours with all the details. I agreee on 9k being too much, but more like 6k to much for the craftsmanship involved and another 3k too much for still being an ESP

I think it's cool, but at the $1200 price mark. At that price, we're getting into stupid territory, we're talking custom shop Gibson, Fender, PRS or most other custom shop guitars stupid. A production run ESP just doesn't hold the same weight and if I were to guess, resale is going to tank to an eighth of what they're charging. At half the current retail price, it's still way overpriced which pretty much sums up just how ridiculous I think 9k is for that guitar.

2 things I`d like to point out as they constitute a bit of a reality check.

This is not a production guitar, the KH-2s are all custom shop guitars. Expecting a handmade guitar for 1200$ is flat out ridiculous if the maker´s name has ever been heard before.

Plain KH-2s sell for about 1500 used as bolt ons, neckthrus a bit more. This graphic will almost certainly bring resale up to >2k.

I agree. I thought it was about a $3K maybe up to $5K guitar.
