dam!!!! that thing gives me a guitar hard on.... LUKE's are amazing... the Luke necks are the best for me out of any i've tried... i'm not into the EMG style stuff but maybe after a while it would grow on me... i should have one of the standard production LUKE's in my collection!

Love it. But for that money i'd get a custom built heritage jazzbox. Or I would take the standard luke musicman instead and use the leftover money to buy a jackson usa soloist.

they are costly.... the LUKE one of my friends has feels so slick in the hands it almost plays itself... it's so slick i almost feel like i should be in privite when i play it...
but another line of Ernie Balls my local shop is getting that excites me is a small batch of special ordered Axis's with flame maple tops like normal but all will have solid Rosewood necks... i can't wait to check that out!

That set up is the Alnico Mag 85 with a set of Alnico mag special designed singles. That is NOT like a hard harsh toneless S-S/81 set up and will in it's self be a tone monster!
My Prototype Washburn for the MG 122 is different sounding from my other guitars with the EMG 85 and a H60A but is a tone monster in it's own right. I could never even think of dumping the actives in that guitar.
