I love guitars and am attending music school..
I am just starting out and I have an assignment to write about the origin of the guitar and I would like to ask you professionals some questions.
I found on this website http://www.musicalien.net/guitar-history/ that the guitar originated from the Lute or from the Kittara. What are your oppinions on this?
Also I saw that some evidence shows that the first guitar ever was an instrument from Egypt which I find so facinating!!
Anyway I wanted to start this thread to ask this question and to start the discussion about it
Please share with me what is it that you know about the guitar history and it will help me write my paper but more than that it will help us all learn something new about the instrument we all love.
