This is an old idea that my dad always kicks himself for. He said to me when I was about 14 that he always wanted to buy a tele or p-bass the same year I was born and hold on and give it to me when I was old enough to play. Well, that would have been a 1967 p-bass or tele. So, I am going to try to do it for my daughters.
Looking to buy two guitars for my girls who were born in 2000 and in 2002. I will not be too picky about colors or options. What I want are US made guitars that have not been modded beyond recognition. I would love them to come with OHSC's.
I would take guitars with no pick ups or electronics too.
For Fender I will consider anything, but really do not want strats.
For Gibson, I do not think anything will come in, in my price range but SG or LP Jr.s would be my preference since these are for my girls and they are still pretty young.
I would also consider ASAT's, but again, I think my price range will be way out of whack.
I would love to pick them up for $500 per but that might be asking too much. I live in the Milwaukee/Chicago area and travel to MN quite a bit too. Can do paypal right away or face to face cash if we are driving distance from one another.

I do have some trade bait if anyone is interested in either a 91 Strat (white, maple, vintage trem) with Rio Grande Half Breed Set.
