WTB: American Strat or G&L

To be frank, as close to $600 (or under) as is reasonable; not looking for a perfect guitar.

Plus, Standard, Deluxe, Special, Highway One, California Series... Fullerton made Legacy, S500 etc...

If you're SoCal local that's a plus; if you have any of the above (or anything close) I'm interested.

Re: WTB: American Strat or G&L

This is what I get for deleting my thread- it would have been simple to direct you to it.
I had listed a Fender/Warmoth strat for sale or trade with the following specs:

Fender Highway 1 body (not sure of year) with Highway 1 pickups, (not sure of year; bought separate from the body) HSS config
Warmoth Vintage/Modern strat neck-fatback contour, maple fretboard, 22 frets, 10" radius, 6150 fret size & Schaller locking tuners
non-stock parts on the body are a Wilkinson VSVG bridge and Schaller strap locks.

The body has some wear/scuffs on it- the Highway 1s scratch easily with their thin finish. To some this would be a real downside and to those interested in relic type wear a nice bonus. The neck is finished in tru-oil and feels great but is too big for my hands (fatback contour) and I finally gave up fighting it. I'm attaching two pictures to this message; the back angle picture is to hopefully show the worst of the wear on the body.

I haven't shipped a guitar in several years but the last time I did it was relatively costly... so I am thinking $550 shipped would make it work for me. I think this is a great playing guitar and tuning stability is the best on any strat I have played, if the wear and the non-stock brand name factor don't bother you. Whatever you do I hope you find what you're looking for. If you would like any more information from me let me know and I can try to get back to you. If you think you are interested I can get you additional pictures from different angles.
