Have you considered looking for one of the PATB series and putting an Alnico 8 in it? Not exactly the same pickup, the PATB-1 w/ an A8 would be a little hotter than the Crazy 8 but may be pretty similar. Just in case you can't find a Crazy 8 for less than the Custom Shop price?

ALEX,THANKS , but i realy dont need a hotter pup, i am playing thru a VHT 50-CL & it is hot enough,i want to try crazy 8 in my PRS C-24 i have a custom 5 in it now....rammer
