WTB: Digital Multi-track

Like the title says. I'm Looking to buy a digital multi-track. I can't really afford to buy new, so hopefully someone here has something they're not useing they'de like to sell. haha.

Heres what its gotta have...

1. AT LEAST 8 tracks.
2. An internal Hard Drive (preferably, but will consider others if the price is right)
3. USB capablitys (as I will be bounceing to a PC to do mixing)
4. CD quality or Higher Sound quality
5. Gotta be Fairly simple to use

Thats it. I don't care about effects (as I wouldn't use em), whether the screen is back lit, or any of the other "extras". I just need a decent Digital Multi-track. Don't even care about how easy it is to do a mix down on it, as I'll be doing all my mixing on my computer.
I know someones gonna say "why not just do all the recording on yer pc?" And yeah, I know that would make sense. But, I like the whole "take anywhere" capability/convience of having a standalone recorder. I like to record in lots of different parts of my house (or at other peoples houses) to Pickup different room ambiance, and to avoid lugging amps into the Small room my computer is in. So a Standalone recorder is essential for me, as its quite annoying having to Move a computer and a monitor all over the house constantly.

So if anyones got anything they'de like to sell, PM me with what ya got, an what ya want for it. Thanks!

Re: WTB: Digital Multi-track

I have a brand spankin new Fostex . . its blue. I think its a VF80
it has 8 tracks . . and a tone of effects. Very easy to use.
Internal harddrive holds a bunch of songs.
It Has the capability to burn cd's . . . but I havent bought a burner to go inside it yet. would cost about $100.00 for the burner unit last I checked into it.
It has spdif outputs or RCA outputs no USB.

I bought it and have only used it one time. . . it sits in the garage next to my fostex "tape" recorder 4-track LOL.

I'd sell it or trade it off if you are interested.

Looks like this
