It's all in what you're trying to accomplish. When I'm using a single coil I prefer a higher output pickup (9-10k)for
The attitude. Humbuckers I prefer a medium hitting output. (11-14k). It really does just come down to the ear of the beholder.

What I mean is, do you prefer a different pedal for humbuckers than you do for single coils? But I realized almost immediately what a pointless question that is, because it depends on the music anyway.

Somebody was recently offering an original SD pickup booster in the Trading Post. I would suggest looking into it.
